Ridgeback Geofisica Argentina S.A. was constitituted in Mendoza, Argentina in 2010 as part of the group of companies under the same management as SouthernRock Geophysics based in Santiago, Chile. This common management structure and logistical synergies ensure the seamless provision of geophysical services throughout the region.

The group specializes in  electrical geophysical data acquisition for mineral, ground water and geothermal exploration sectors as well as other monitoring programs. An in-house state-of-the-art distributed array system (gDAS24) trialled and tested by AGT-SouthernRock provides the group with an unparalleled data acquisition for deep Induced Polarization / Resistivity and Magneto-Telluric data acquisition.

Today the Ridgeback - SouthernRock group boasts over 25 years of experience in the Andean region with an operations base in Mendoza, a field base in Antofagasta, a technical office in Santiago, Chile integrating a resource network that delivers innovative earth imaging solutions to a broad base of local and multinational clients.
