AGT gDAS24, version IV

By the end of 2015-Q4, all 126 gDAS units will be converted to version IV.

 

Upgrades in hardware include more robust data transmission ports (USB) and power conectors while firmware upgrades have improved GPS synchrony (~30ns) and system resolution (~2 nanoVolts at low frecuency sample rates under favourable signal to noise characteristics).

 

Improvements in resolution have been acheived principally through oversampling, resulting in the gDAS system now providing 31-bits of resolution at sample rates of 32Hz and 256Hz, 28-bits at 2kHz and the standard 24-bits of resolution at the highest sample rate of 16kHz.
