Founded in 2010 and based in Mendoza, Argentina.
Ridgeback Geophysics is part of a regional network of geophysical service companies under shared management with Southernrock Geophysics in Chile. Together, we offer seamless, high-quality exploration support across the Central Andes.
We specialize in advanced geophysical services for mineral exploration, groundwater, geothermal, and monitoring solutions, focusing on data acquisition, processing, and innovative methodology development. Through our partnership with Advanced Geophysical Technologies (AGT), we operate with cutting-edge acquisition systems: the gDAS-32, a high-resolution distributed array platform, enabling deep IP/Resistivity, Magnetotelluric (MT), and other advanced geophysical surveys with exceptional data quality.
With over 25 years of collective experience in the region, Ridgeback and Southernrock combine technical depth, logistical efficiency, and local insight to support both national and multinational clients in their most challenging exploration environments.
